1 Guy 1 Cup is said to be the WORST viral video ever. Even worse than 2 Girls 1 Cup? Be sure to watch the video for yourself and leave comments under this post or on my youtube or myspace page.

Below is a reaction video of comedian Robert Kelly watching this on Opie & Anthony (Best radio show ever!).

Bush dodging a draft… or shoe. Muntadar al-Zeidi, a TV reporter charged with two counts of assaulting United States President George W. Bush with his shoes was tried and convicted early Monday morning.

Al-Zeidi, a reporter with an Iraqi-owned station based in Egypt, hurled his own shoes, yelling in Arabic: “This is a farewell kiss, dog.” at George W. Bush on Sunday afternoon at a press conference in front of the international media.

Monday morning  Muntadar al-Zeidi was sentenced by the Iraqi government to be pummeled by flip flops for 20 minutes. Al-Zeidi requested that his feet be amputated instead, saying “I wish to be seen as a martyr in the shoe throwing community by my foot apparel tossing peers.” shoeembed_681358a.jpgThe request was denied and Al-Zeidi was removed from the court barefooted.

To Arabs, throwing shoes at someone is a sign of contempt.

Bart Reed’s Comic Strip CLOSESThe only comedy club in my hometown has shut it’s doors.

I haven’t worked there in years, hell the last time I did perform there I was pretty much dragged off stage because I got too drunk and mouthy with the owner. It was hard to be motivated when no matter what you do you’re looked at as a local opening act… but it’s still sad to see another club shut down. I’m assuming the shitty economy is to blame. DAMN YOU GEORGE BUSH!!!  (Just kidding Bart! We know he was a great President! ;) )

There’s lots of comedy clubs closing lately. A lot barely holding their head above water by closing on slower nights, reducing the number of comedians performing, and cutting advertising.

Hopefully they’ll be another club in town in the next year or two. With Ft. Bliss expanding and soldiers coming home I think El Paso has great potential for a live comedy venue. Hell, maybe if another club opens I’ll be able to perform there! Maybe even feature or headline like I do at other clubs.

Either way my best goes out to Bart Reed, his family, and the staff that have lost their jobs. Owning a business is not easy. Even when you’ve done it for a while.
