I've been taking time off from the internet because I'm just tired of looking at a computer screen. Hard to believe that I would ever say this, but, lately I find more serenity in reality television shows, especially those on VH1 and Mtv that really don't have much to do with the reality that most of us know. Alot has happened since I got back home from Albuquerque on Monday.

I never got my credit cards back from losing my wallet a couple months ago, so I had no choice but to buy my ticket to San Diego on Greyhound. There's a reality show if I ever heard one. So I get to spend 18 hours on a bus full of smelly, poor people… Perform for a half hour and come back another 18 hours in the bus. The sad part is I am acutally losing money on this next gig, but it can help me out later so it's completly worth it. I am now officially a “hard-core” road comic.
I am broke and things are getting tougher and tougher. I got a call yesterday and it appears that I may no longer be a Defensive Driving Instructor. I made a quick decission to move out of my apartment and move into my friend's place. I start packing things up tomorrow.
I'm falling in love with my girlfriend more and more everyday. The more I realize that she likes me no matter what I got in my pockets. That's so new to me. She's coming over later to take me to eat “Stupid Salads”. She's incredible. I hope I don't scare her off. Slowly but surely I am easing my way out of a miserable existance in my hometown comedy club and I am finally comfortable to say I really don't care and I won't lose any sleep over it. My career is at a point that makes me nervous. Things are going so great that it scares me.
I've been so busy and broke that it makes me wonder if it is worth it. And the truth is it is. I was actually contimlating staying at the San Deigo Homeless shelter for my night there this coming weekend. Fortunately, my uncle got back to me and insisted I stay with him. This is what I am willing to do. Call me an idiot, but i've came too far to stop now. I will walk to my next gig if I have to. My mind is so focused that it's scary. I have the drive. The motivation. I feel like I got too much to lose. Too many people doubted me and thought my dream was immature. I've sacrificed too much to let go now. I'm kicking in the doors.

I'm heading out tomorrow for another attempt at comedy stardom so I thought I'd post something before I left. I'll be in Albuquerque this week up till Sunday.

So if you have friends there please tell them to go to Laff's Comedy Club on the corner of San Mateo and Osuna

After that I'll be headed to San Diego for a special television show taping at the beautiful Calsbad Village Theatre.

Then I come home for a couple of days and have sex with my girlfriend then I go to Colorado Springs. MY HOME CLUB. They're the first club that booked me as a road comic and they have been so great to me. They don't tell me to change my act. They don't get mad because I try out new jokes, they don't start late, ever, they have me over at their house to eat with them. They are great people. I love LOONEE'S.

You all be well. See you in a few weeks!
